“All that survives after our death are publications and people. So look carefully after the words you write, the thoughts and publications you create, and how you love others. For these are the only things that will remain.” - Susan Niebur

Haunting we will go...
Another year, another Halloween, another year of pumpkin fun! This year we were surprised with SNOW a few days before Halloween. Luckily, it was further north and it quickly melted. Sadly, it left fields muddy and tractors stuck. Austin's youth group had their nighttime hayride and bonfire canceled due to the mud. We purchased our pumpkins from the local boy scouts.
A first this year, we made pumpkin bread and muffins from scratch. The boys had a great time testing their math skills and reading. The treats turned out totally yummy! Another first was making a whole costume from scratch. Connor wanted to be a mummy....and he wanted me to make it. It was fun and thankfully easy. Dylan was an alien. Austin, once again, was a pirate...he loves Pirates of the Caribbean. Happy Spook'ems!!
