An annual rite at Oakland Terrace Elementary is the Variety Show! We have an amazing group of teachers who give it their all....and it shows. The kids are creative, funny and talented. There are singers, pianist, comedians, dancers....list goes on. But of course, the best part for us is the moment our kids get to be on stage. This is the first year that Connor and Dylan decided to give it a try. They perform at a local high school on their big stage. They tried out and were picked to show their karate skills along with a friend and a group of older karate students. We are so thankful to our karate teachers for coaching the little boys, not only on a routine that won't overwhelm them but to coach them on being assertive, showing energy, and leadership. Thank you Master RJ Lee and Mr. Bradley, you are the best! As a typical stage mom, I was nervous....because if you know my Connor at all, you would know that prior to taking karate a year ago, he was afraid of his own shadow and cried over everything. Now, last night, in the variety show, my baby was a leader. Dylan rocked too! So proud!! So without further delay...introducing "Triple Threat" - Connor, Dylan and Anthony!! Triple Threat
