Ode to Target

If you ever lived near a Target, Walmart or Kmart....one of those big, they got everything stores where no matter what you buy, you REALLY think you got a bargain. Well, we live near a Target. The joke is....you can't get out of the store without spending $100 or more even when all you swear you needed was toilet paper! This past week, Austin had an assignment in English to write an "ode". I was so happy to read his writings and just wanted to share.

ODE TO TARGET
Hundreds of rows as far as I can see
Full of toys and games
Target is like no other store
It's hard to choose with millions of choices
Everything shines in the light
When I go there I fill with joy
Always having what I want
All the toys saying "pick me"
When I leave I wish I could get more
I know I will be back soon
