The week after Thanksgiving, we headed out to get our tree. For the first time, the the boys were all big enough to carry the chosen Christmas tree off the lot themselves and did most of the trimming. Later we attended the holiday Advent party at church where we wrapped shoeboxes and filled them with assorted cookies for those shut-in or military families. We helped fill 49 boxes of cookies, that's a lot of cookies!
