“All that survives after our death are publications and people. So look carefully after the words you write, the thoughts and publications you create, and how you love others. For these are the only things that will remain.” - Susan Niebur

Down on the Farm!
We spent 2 days down at my dad's farm in Goochland County, Virginia. That's right, I said Goochland. Funny name for sure but it's located just outside of Richmond. With the boys and cousins in tow, they had 48 acres of open space to run and roam. Our cousins live next door, they came over and built us a bonfire - roasting hot dogs, making s'mores, watching for bats and coyotes...and best of all, riding in the golf cart deep into the dark woods with only a flashlight and headlights. The little ones were a bit spooked, especially when they were pretty sure they saw a real coyote! They had a blast and could have rode the golf carts nonstop the entire time. Austin got alot of driving time - he was quite proud. We took long walks, collected walnuts, and got to see and hold 2 week old puppies! It felt like an entire week of activities crunched into 2 short days. (check back, pictures coming)
