I need tickets! Where are the tickets?

First I want to say - we did NOT get tickets for the Easter Egg Roll. I started at midnight, stayed home sick (which I really was) and literally hit the send button every 5-10 minutes. It was crazy. I actually got almost to checkout several times before the system failed (on their end - not mine). Then I got overly excited when I got through all the steps and was all the way to checkout - just needed to click that one last button. So I clicked. And I waited. Where was the confirmation screen. Nope. No screen. Just a message that said "sorry, no tickets available at this time, please try back later". WHAT?!! You've got to be kidding me? I made it that far - it let me go that far only to say "sorry". Sorry for what, an inadequate ticket system? Why didn't they do half of the tickets online and half where you could camp out, so if you didn't get the online ones, there was still a chance. We have never been to the White House Egg Roll before - I know, we are such Washingtonians and yet, something about camping out to get tickets, just didn't work for me.

On the other side of this crazy world, I did happen to win tickets to a preview screening of the new Hannah Montana movie. Austin wasn't interested but boy were the twins excited! We invited their friend Carly who could be heard squeeling with joy all the way from her house - she was truly that excited. As movies go, it was fun and entertaining - lots of singing and dancing.

So despite being sick and irritated by the White House internet, it made me appreciate the smiles, squeels and laughter from my little guys watching Hannah "Pontana" (as Connor calls her). It gave balance to my day!
