All I want for Christmas

Actually, I'm changing the song to "all I DON'T want for Christmas" is head lice! Yes, its true, it only took me 40 plus years but it finally happened. Austin's best friend's mom called me last night and said "I'm really sorry to tell you this but Ben has lice, better check Austin". Well, never having experienced this before, I had no idea what to look for on someone's head. I immediately went over to my friend Sheryl's house - she had experience with her own daughters. Yep, Austin had it but it was mild. Nope, Connor and Dylan were clean. Mmmmm, oooh, wellllllll, (those responses didn't sound good to me)....final verdict, yep I had it too and it was all over. So instead of baking cookies and singing holiday cheer today, I was stripping beds and washing coats, linens and anything else I could think of. I'm glad the lice have a home for Christmas, I just wish it wasn't HERE!
