“All that survives after our death are publications and people. So look carefully after the words you write, the thoughts and publications you create, and how you love others. For these are the only things that will remain.” - Susan Niebur

Something to Ponder...
Here's another tidbit from the book I mentioned in an earlier blog posting - What "little things" have others done that have made a significant impact on you and why? Then reflect on your life and in what ways are you already making a difference - in the smallest of ways? Remember that doing for others - friends, family, church, etc. doesn't require a lot of your time or effort. Sometimes, even the smallest of moments - a quick hello, a card, something silly...these things let someone else know that they are in your heart. Think of that the next time there is a birthday, someone is sick or down, or life gets crazy. You also may be be doing more than you give yourself credit. Sometimes, we need to stop worrying about the things we feel we are not doing (that uses up lots of energy) ... instead of giving ourselves credit for the things we ARE doing. "Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier" - Mother Theresa
