Let there be lights, carols and SNOW!

It was awesome to have a white Christmas. All the rest just fell into place. Though the snow interrupted many of our outings to see holiday lights, it was beautiful just staring at our own lights through the windows as they glistened in the snow. We did manage to attend our Church advent adventure where the children made gingerbread houses and wreaths followed by a potluck dinner and lots of goodies! We also baked 5 dozen cookies for our church youth who were boxing up cookies for our soldiers and shut-ins. Before all the snow came, we also had a ton of rain, which just happened to be the day we were out shopping for a tree! The boys loved having extra days off for winter break due to the snow and all the cousins enjoyed being able to go sledding down our hill (on the side of our house) and spending even more time together on Christmas Day. Funniest moment - when Connor FINALLY received the karaoke machine he had been begging for more than a year....once the paper was off he exclaimed "Wow, look at that, I don't know what it is but I love it. " Perfect moment. Hope everyone's holiday season was special.

Looks like you all had a great Christmas holiday. Be sure to post a Karaoke video next time on your blog. :)
