Happy Graduation my babies! How did this day get here so fast? I didn't cry as much as I thought I would but I think I'm still in shock that today came and went. It probably means that all those tears are saving up for the first day of school - where I'll have a major breakdown! But I'll cross that blog entry when I get there. Today was a wonderful celebration. Our time at the Silver Spring Learning Center has been enriching in many ways. Though we are not Jewish, the benefit of going to a Judaic-based school is the rich education that the children got based on the Old Testament and the importance of prayer. They have developed quite a hebrew vocabulary from songs and activities. I loved that they had an opportunity to experience such diversity and traditions. Lots of songs were sung today, then the diplomas were handed out. Afterwards there was cake and treats in the classroom. All the parents discussing summer plans and our great sadness of not seeing these kids on a regular basis anymore (Sonia, have an amazing summer in Bali and Africa!). Afterwards, Tammy and I surprised the threesome with a trip to Chucky Cheese for lunch and games. The squeel of excitement! They had a blast! But sadly, the time has come for Connor, Dylan and Juliet to part ways. Connor and Dylan will go to a different elementary school than cousin Juliet. They haven't been parted in 2 years - so it will be bittersweet. Our beautiful, funny, incredibly intelligent threesome have spent almost every aspect of their little years together. Happy Graduation our wonderful threesome and all the wonderful and possible wishes to your amazing future and the greatest adventures ahead - hopefully alot of them together!
