Christmas Play

Every year, one thing I look forward too is attending the Christmas play at church. Yes, we get exhausted from staying late at church every Sunday since Thanksgiving and then the 9-1 full dress rehearsal the day before the play. I also say every year, "maybe we won't do it next year". But then Sunday arrives and it's show time. I see my boys on stage singing songs and saying their lines and it warms my heart with all the Christmas magic. It reminds me of the true meaning of Christmas and how special the birth of just one little baby can be to so many. Though Connor has become rather shy about performing in front of people - he did come around for the Hanukkah performance and participated - he watched the play from the side and enjoyed waving and giving thumbs up to Austin and Dylan.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace,
good will toward men. Luke 2:14
