Lion King Rocks!

Thank you Jackie Kennedy for realizing that our Nation's Capital needed a building as beautiful as the Kennedy Center for the performing arts. The boys took their first visit to the Kennedy Center this week for the performance of The Lion King. What a wonderful show and the boys loved it! They were also very captivated by the building itself - all the flags, fountains, all the sights you could see from the roof and of course, the cafeteria. It was a really beautiful day downtown. Of course, Dylan insisted that he wear his Peter Pan costume to this event. It took lots of discussion before he was willing to just take his plastic lion to the performance and forego the costume. Anything Disney we attend, he MUST wear his Peter Pan costume. Luckily for Dylan, in December we do have tickets to see Peter Pan on stage - hope the costume still fits by then.
