“All that survives after our death are publications and people. So look carefully after the words you write, the thoughts and publications you create, and how you love others. For these are the only things that will remain.” - Susan Niebur

Because it was time....
After creating a couple blogs for others, I finally figured it was time for me to create one of my own. This will be a project in the works during the coming month as I make constant changes...if you know me, real
ly know me, you won't find this surprising because you know how I like to change things. First, I just want to say that I can't believe school is over AGAIN and now it's summer. Austin just finished the 3rd grade and will be going to horseback riding and art camp this summer. The twins have now finished their 3rd year of preschool - with one more to go. Thankfully, the school calendar changed the age cut-off to September 1st so I was saved from the trauma of sending my babies to kindergarten...at least for one more year. Our summer immediately began with a week of Vacation Bible School (Connor & Dylan are front and center in the group pic). It was a long, exhausting but spiritually uplifting week as the kids learned all the songs and gained a greater understanding of God's power (the theme was called "Power Lab"). The twins still sing the songs EVERY day, and as if I couldn't be tormented even more while drivin
g with three kids in tow, they have a CD with the VBS music and want to sing it in the car daily! Don't get me wrong, these songs are great but I'm humming them in my sleep now. At least I know they had a fantastic time. At the end of the week, the kids were disappointed that it was over...as for us camp counselors...well, we were danced and sung out and ready for a rest and TV time! Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July. We went to our neighborhood pool where they have a cookout and games for the kids. We were there for 5 hours...alot of swimming and lots of fun. Happy Independence Day! (p.s. if you click on the pictures, you can see them bigger)

Hi Becky!
I've been thinking about you a lot and missing you, so I was so glad today to see your invite to your new blog and to be able to feel a little more caught up with you!
Love,
Linda
Welcome to the blog world! So far your blog looks great.
Hey there Becky!
I'm so glad you did this (creating a blog). You're more up on technology than me, that's for sure. Maybe you can teach me a few things. :)
Love and Miss you guys, Mi
I love this one of Connor & Dylan. Did you notice their hands - right one tucked up & the left relaxed?
